About Us

We're dedicated to reshaping consumer expectations and challenging the status quo by utilizing advanced robotics to produce sustainable, high-quality, Canadian-made office furniture and custom fabricated products.

Breaking the Mold: CRI's Commitment to Canadian-Made Quality

In a world driven by disposability, CRI stands apart. We're committed to reversing this trend, championing a culture of longevity and sustainability in our products. When you invest in our furniture, you're not just buying a piece of office equipment - you're making a commitment to sustainability and quality that will pay dividends for years to come.

Over the past 40 years, consumer habits have shifted towards seeking the lowest priced items - a trend that has inflicted significant damage on our planet due to unsustainable production methods. Consider water, for instance. Up to 50% of the water we drink is older than the sun, yet we package it in plastic bottles. Over time, the plastic leaches into the water, contaminating it. If you find yourself preferring the taste of bottled water, it's likely because you've grown accustomed to the flavor of plastic and chemicals. Incredibly, water that has persisted for billions of years now comes with a shelf life, courtesy of modern manufacturing practices.

At Convergence Robotics Inc. (CRI), we don't sell water, but we do create office furniture, and the parallels between these two industries are striking. The same issue of toxic contamination seen in bottled water can be observed in the glues and paints used in furniture production. These substances can pollute the air, contributing to poor indoor air quality that, according to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, can sometimes be 2-5 times worse than outdoor air. This means your office space could potentially have poorer air quality than some of the most polluted cities globally if furnished with low-quality, toxin-emitting furniture.

As consumers chase the lowest prices, and the next shiny object, products have been transformed into consumables rather than durable, quality goods. CRI was established to confront this issue. We strive to break away from this unsustainable cycle by focusing on the production of high-quality, long-lasting office furniture that's free from harmful chemicals. We prioritize the use of safe, sustainable materials and are actively working towards fully automating our production process to enhance efficiency, scale our operations, and uphold our high standards of quality.

Our efforts have been recognized. In April 2023, we received accreditation from the United Nations for aligning with their 17 Sustainable Development Goals. At CRI, we aren't just about providing you with an office furniture solution; we're about offering a sustainable, long-lasting solution that respects both the consumer and the planet.

While many companies compete to offer the lowest price, we at CRI choose a different path. We know that we aren't the cheapest office furniture provider on the market, but that isn't our aim. We prioritize quality, sustainability, and durability. Our products are proudly built in Canada, focusing on long-term value over short-term savings. We refuse to compromise on our materials or our manufacturing processes. Instead of creating products that need to be replaced frequently, we invest in making furniture that lasts, reducing waste and offering better value over time.
